Can you have an open bottle in Txas these days. I was in Texas thirty years ago and loaded guns and open bottles were both allowed.

Sadly, the same waiting time still applies to drive through sales as other gun sales. Fortunately (hey, I'm conservative but not stupid), TX police heavily enforce the open bottle laws.

Not really "only in Texas" though it sounds good. There is at least one similar sign in Columbia, Missour (or at least there was years ago)...and the combo isn't uncommon across the midwest.

Only in Texas can you buy a bottle of whisky and a gun at the same time - with the convenience of drive-thru so you don't have to get out from behind the wheel while you drink and shoot.
